Next month, the European Province will host the Triennial General Chapter of the Oratory of the Good Shepherd, which takes place 7th – 16th October 2019 at the Anglican Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham.
General Chapter meets once every three years, and is a gathering of all the professed brothers from around the world. Brothers will be coming to Walsingham from the UK, Australia, South Africa, the USA and Canada, to meet and make decisions about the life of the Oratory; to enjoy time together; and to reflect on our common life.
We also have a few days in Retreat, at which several Companions from around the world will be joining us, and we will be led by our Visitor, Bishop Jack Nicholls.
During General Chapter, God willing, a new brother will be clothed as a probationer, while another will make his First Profession and three will make Life Professions.
